Customers (CRM)
A unified timeline of every interaction with each customer, plus their vehicle garage.
What it is
Customers are global records that tie together every lead, estimate, invoice, appointment, message, and note for one person. Each customer has a garage of their vehicles.
How to use it
- Open Customers to search by name, phone, email, or address.
- Tap a customer to see their timeline — a unified feed of leads, estimates, invoices, appointments, messages, and internal notes in chronological order.
- Use Garage to add or edit vehicles (year, make, model, color, VIN, plate). Vehicles created from estimates or appointments are auto-saved here.
- Tap a phone number:
- On desktop, it copies to clipboard.
- On mobile, a drawer opens with Call / SMS / Copy options.
- Add internal notes — only your team sees these; they never reach the customer.
Tips & edge cases
- The Dent Zone tag marks customers within your service area.
- Vehicles are linked to estimates, invoices, and appointments automatically. If a customer has only one vehicle, documents are auto-linked to it.
- Addresses are stored as Street, City, Zip (Florida is implied — state isn't stored).
- If a customer has no address (or only city + zip), the record shows "No address on file" with an inline button to add one using address autocomplete.
